Joran Monteiro

Joran C.A. Monteiro is a Dutch poet and writer who now calls Melbourne home. You will see posters with poems from his second collection of poetry ‘The Wheels Have Been Set In Motion And The Heart Thunders On’ hanging about on walls at PHM10. Even the actual booklet will be available at … PHM10, probably the bar. He debuted his first collection, ‘The Monkey Shits In Its Hand’, at PHM08 and is very glad to be back.

Besides poetry Joran is currently working on the second draft of his first novel ‘Cerberus Falls’ which amongst others features a cocaine-addicted evil doctor, a geriatric private detective, a freak covered in hair, and the hound of hell himself. He is still looking for a literary agent/publisher as depraved as he is.
