Simon Boucher

Simon Boucher is an artist from Melbourne. His workplace skills and experience have informed his subject and practical methods for the past 3 years. Being an electrician in the construction industry he has had a unique exposure to a myriad of amazing people, all with individual talents and abilities, this is what drives him.

Recent showings at VCA Margaret Lawrence Gallery, Carlton Club, PHM and Untitled Spaces have ranged from wax castings to structural sculpture. For PHM10 we see his complex yet totally incorrect representation of the double helix. It is the next step in his continuing exploration into the fabric of the unseen and the uncovering of everything we already know.
