AW 12 'a study in collaging structures'

Following on from Summer "a study in shifting structures", the designers from above. wanted to push the playfulness with clothing for winter. By splitting two classics (the trench, the blazer) into sums of their parts (body, sleeve, collar) two garments can now be collaged into an infinite number off combinations. Giving the wearer the choice to customise to their mood but also to pick and choose the most flattering options for themselves. The way we wear our clothes and the interaction we have has always been important to us and this collection allows for so much more individual choice.

above. have tried to think about pairing back what you might need in a wardrobe. The categories of; base layer (shirt, pants, shirt dress) ghost layer (thin tulle layering pieces) and the collageables (trench, blazer, accessory garments) allow you to invest in pieces that work in a variety of ways.

The season from above. is about a return to investing in items that you love, that you can see yourself wearing for a long time in a variety of ways.
